Product Warranty Guide

Following is a guide to the warranty terms and conditions applicable to Emoretal Manufacturers’ products.

It is to be read in conjunction with, and where appropriate is subservient to, the relevant statutory regulations as variously apply in Australia and its territories’.

Unless specifically noted below, all Emoretal Manufacturers’ electronic products are warranted against faulty design, materials and workmenship for 12 months from the date of sale to the end customer by the reseller.

Except;

- Rotary Controls: Typically potentiometers, rotary encoders and switches

- Linear Controls: Typically faders and switches

- Media Readers : Typically CD & DVD mechanisms, hard disks and cards

Tascam “Professional & Studio” Products,
DM Series Mixers and X48 Recorder

Samson “Sound Contractor” Products
C-Class, D-Class & SX Series Products

Samson “Reinforcement” Products
DB Series, Live! & Resound Series Products

Valves
This refers to Valves (Vacuum Tubes) used as components in equipment.
 It does not effect the actual equipment which carries our normal warranty of 12 months unless otherwise noted.

Unless specifically advised, the general Emoretal Manufacturers’ warranty applies to the hardware component of our products and systems only. When a product requires “software drivers” to permit it to meet its published specification our warranty is extended to include support for these drivers in respect of the version of the Microsoft or Apple Computer operating system, as appropriate, at the time of the products manufacture.

Although many products may also include bundled software of the “LE”, “light” or “limited functionality” variety, support of this software is not included. Customers should refer directly to the software company’s website for advice and assistance.

Applications should be made in accordance with our WRAN policy. Please contact us prior to returning any item to our inwards counter. Items returned without a Warranty Repair Authorisation Number will not be accepted and returned to the sender at their cost.
